Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of teamwork in the management of the medication safety. Methods The medication error events in our hospital from January 2014 to September 2017 were selected as subjects. Before the rectification from January 2014 to September 2015,the management was carried out according to the conventional management methods and working modes, and after the rectification from January 2016 to September 2017,the management was carried out by the multi-department team cooperation models with the management tools. The rate of medication error events, the rate of active reporting of adverse events, and the qualified rate of stored drugs before and after rectification were compared before and after the rectification. Results The rate of medication error events after the rectification was significantly lower than that before the rectification, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The rate of active reporting of adverse events and the qualified rate of stored drugs after the rectification were significantly higher than those before the rectification, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of teamwork mode can establish an effective inter-department communication and coordination mechanism, form a safety management mode, which improves and prevents the drug management from the system, and improve the safety of clinical medication.
