Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the influence of acupuncturing Renying Acupoint on blood flow velocity of bilateral internal carotid artery.MethodsFrom June 2015 to April 2017,90 patients with CSA treated in outpatient of our department were selected.According to a single-blind random method, they were divided into the observation group(n=30),control group A (n=30),and control group B (n=30).In the observation group, acupuncture combined with moxibustion were used, while in the control group A,warming-needle moxibustion was applied, and in the control group B,only acupuncture was adopted. The total effective rate, the average blood flow velocity(Vm)and systolic blood velocity(Vs)of the vertebral artery(VA)and basilar artery(BA),and clinical therapeutic effectiveness rate were comparatively analyzed.ResultsThe total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group A and B(P<0.05).After treatment, the improvement of Vm and Vs in the observation group was better than that of the control group A and B (P<0.05).ConclusionThe application of acupuncturing Renying Acupoint treating CSA can effectively improve the Vm and Vs as well as the clinical effect,so it can be applied and promoted in clinical practice.
