Abstract：Objective To investigate the reproductive health knowledge status in artificial abortion persons form foreign female workers of Baoan District in Shenzhen City,so as to provide guidance and assistance for reproductive health knowledge propaganda and education in the future.Methods A total of 1000 artificial abortion persons form foreign female workers of Baoan District in Shenzhen City from January 2017 to January 2018 were selected as study objects,a questionnaire survey method was used to investigate the reproductive health knowledge status.Results The awareness rate of pregnancy symptoms was 84.2%,the awareness rate of contraception method was 77.4%,the awareness rate of complications of artificial abortion was 65.6%,and the awareness rate of sexually transmitted diseases was 47.8%among the 1000 artificial abortion persons form foreign female workers.The awareness rate of pregnancy symptoms,contraceptive methods,complications of artificial abortion and sexual transmission diseases of the＞35 years old group were higher than those of the ＜35 years old group with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).The awareness rate of pregnancy symptoms,contraceptive methods,complications of artificial abortion and sexual transmission diseases of the undergraduate and above group were higher than those of the high school and below with statistically significant difference(P＜0.05).The awareness rate of pregnancy symptoms,contraceptive methods,complications of artificial abortion and sexual transmission diseases of the married group were higher than those of the unmarried group with statistically significant difference(P＜0.05).Conclusion The mastery degree of reproductive health knowledge in artificial abortion persons form foreign female workers of Baoan District in Shenzhen City is higher,but they generally lack of the knowledge of sexually transmitted diseases.In addition to strengthening propaganda and education work in this area,it has become a prominent problem to provide post-abortion care services for specific populations＜35 years old,high school and below and the unmarried.
