Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of Maxingshigan Decoction combined acupoint application treating senile bronchial pneumonia. Methods Seventy-eight patients with senile bronchial pneumonia treated in our department from January 2015 to June 2016 were selected, and they were randomly divided into the two groups, there were 39 cases in each group. The control group received routine treatment of western medicine, while the observation group received Maxingshigan decoction and acupoint application treatment. The clinical curative effect, symptom relief time, lung function indexes and inflammatory factor indexes were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 94.87%,which was higher than that of the control group(71.79%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The remission time of all the symptoms in the observation group was shorter than thaose in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the indexes of pulmonary function and inflammatory factors indexes between the two groups(P>0.05),after treatment, the index of lung function indexes in the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the index of inflammatory factor indexes were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In elderly patients with bronchial pneumonia,Maxingshigan Decoction and acupoint application combined treatment is effective,it can effectively relieve symptoms, improve lung function and inhibit the inflammatory reaction in the body.
