Abstract:Objective To study the changes of thyroid hormone levels in children with neonatal respiratory distress syndrome and infectious pneumonia and their correlation with IL-6 and TNF-α. Methods 49 cases of neonatal respiratory distress syndrome in children(distress group)and 74 patients with infectious pneumonia(pneumonia group)and 60 cases of healthy newborns(healthy control group)in our hospital from January 2013 to November 2015 were selected as the research objects. The levels of thyroid hormone,IL-6 and TNF-α were detected by electrochemical analysis and enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).The correlation of thyroid hormone,IL-6,TNF-α were analyzed. Results The thyroid hormone and TNF-α levels in the distress group was lower than that in the healthy control group respectively, and IL-6 higher than that in the control group, the differences had the statistical significance(P<0.05).In addition, thyroid hormone was negatively related to IL-6,TNF-α(P<0.05).The thyroid hormone in the pneumonia group was lower than that of the healthy control group respectively,IL-6,TNF-α were higher than that of the healthy control group, with significant differences(P<0.05).The thyroid hormone was negatively related to the IL-6,TNF-α(P<0.05). Conclusion Neonatal respiratory distress syndrome, infectious pneumonia in children with thyroid hormone levels, and its changes and IL-6,TNF-α closely relates to the assessment of the patient′s condition and prognosis has a certain clinical value.
