Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical effects of different operations in treating early stage thoracic esophageal cancer and analyze the impact of different operations on the prognosis of patients.M ethods 50 patientswith early stage thoracic esophageal cancer in cardio-thoracic surgery of our hospital from January 2013 to December 2015 were selected and randomly divided into control group （28 cases）and observation group （22 cases）.Patients in the control group were given traditional open chest surgery，and patients in the observation group were given radical surgery for esophageal cancer under thoracic laparoscopy.The difference of surgery effects and prognosis in two groups were compared.Results The observation group had the advantages of shorten operation time and less bleeding volume during operation，and the difference was obviouswhen compared with control group（P＜0.05）.The postoperative KPSand QLQC30 score in the observation group was obviously higher than that in the control group respectively，and the difference was obvious（P＜0.05）.Conclusion Using radical surgery under thoracic laparoscopy for early stage thoracic esophageal cancer patients has obvious treatment effects and with good clinical prognosis.
