Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the feasibility and safety of CO2laser combined with ALA-PDT in treating urethral condyloma.Methods112 urethral condyloma patients from March 2015 to March 2016 in our hospital were randomly selected and were divided into control group and observation group,56 cases in each group.Patients in control group were used CO2laser,and patients in observation group were used ALA-PDT on the basis of control group.Followed up for 24 weeks after the end of treatment, recurrence of warts and patients satisfaction with treatment was observed.ResultsAfter treatment, disposable cure rate at one week and two weeks in observation group were compared, the difference had no significant(P>0.05).The difference of disposable cure rate at 4,8,12 and 24 weeks between two groups had statistical significant(P<0.05).The recurrence rate of the two groups increased gradually, and to reach steady state at eighth weeks. Compared between two groups, the recurrence rate of observation group was obvious lower than that of control group, the difference was significant(P<0.05).The patients satisfaction in observation group was 96.43%,obvious higher than that was 83.93%in control group, the difference was significant(P<0.05).ConclusionUsing CO2laser combined with ALAPDT in treating urethral condyloma can improve disposable cure rate, reduce recurrence rate effectively and improve patients satisfaction.
