Abstract:Objective To explore the feasibility of 1.5T magnetic resonance diffusion weighted imaging (DWI) and apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC) differential diagnosis of hepatichemangioma and nodular hepatic carcinoma. Methods From March 2014 to December 2016,54 patients with solid nodular lesions treated in our hospital were selected as research objects. All participants were tested by pathologic examinations.Among them,31 patients were with single nodular hepatocellular carcinoma, and the rest were diagnosed as hepatic hemangioma. All patients were performed with 1.5T magnetic resonance DWI scanning. The DWI and ADC images were obtained by the related software.ADC values were measured and signal intensity of the DWI in the two groups was compared as well as the ADC values. Results The lesions in the nodular hepatocellular carcinoma patients, the significant high-signals were predominant in DWI accounting for 90.32%.The lesions showed a slight signal intensity in DWI in patients with hepatic hemangioma accounting for 70.83%.There was statistical difference in the distribution of DWI signal intensity in the two groups(P<0.05).After comparing with nodular hepatic carcinomapatients, the ADC value in hepatic hemangioma group was much higher and displayed statistical difference (P<0.05).Conclusion There are great difference in the characteristics of DWI image signals and ADC values in patients with hepatic hemangioma and nodular hepatocellular carcinoma.1.5T magnetic resonance DWI and ADC can provide important reference for the differential diagnosis, which are worthy of promotion.
