Effect of application of flipped classroom teaching mode in the teaching of nursing specialty in colleges and universities

Abstract:Objective To explore the best teaching methods for nursing specialty.Methods 85 cases nursing students of our school from March to July 2016 were divided into observation group and control group,the control group was taught by using traditional LBL (lecture-based learning)teaching method;while,the observation group was educated by using flipped classroom teaching mode.The teaching effectiveness of two groups were compared from 3 aspects,including students′learning experience,evaluation of teachers′teaching ability and the final grade in Internal Medicine Nursing. Results According to the student survey results,the students′learning experience,evaluation of teachers′teaching ability and the final grade in observation group were better than those of control group,with statistically significant differences between two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion The flipped classroom teaching mode integrates the learning content inside and outside the classroom together to improve the teaching effectiveness.
