Abstract:Objective To explore the diagnostic effects of color Doppler ultrasonography or ultrasonic elastography on thyroid tumors.Methods From January 2015 to March 2016,170 patients in the department of thyroid of our hospital were selected as the observation objects.They were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group,85 cases in each group.In the control group,color Doppler ultrasonography was used,while in the experimental group,ultrasonic elastography was adopted.The ultrasonographic findings in the two groups were comparatively analyzed with those by pathological results in later.Results The pathological diagnosis in the experimental group was nodular goiter in 22 cases,follicular thyroid cancer in 8 cases,medullary carcinoma in 6 cases,papillary adenocarcinoma in 17 cases,and thyroid adenoma in 32 cases.The number of nodular goiter,follicular thyroid cancer,medullary carcinoma,papillary adenocarcinoma,and thyroid adenoma was 22,10,8,14,31 cases in the control group accordingly.The diagnostic accordance rate of ultrasound was 97.65% in the experimental group,which was much higher than that in the control group accounting for 71.76%,with statistical difference (P<0.05).In the experimental group,the specificity and sensitivity of ultrasound diagnosis were 91.25% and 93.78%,which was much higher than that in the control group accounting for 69.81% and 72.73%,respectively,which were displayed statistical differences (P<0.05).Conclusion The accuracy of ultrasonic elastography is higher than that of color Doppler ultrasonography in the diagnosis of patients with thyroid tumors.
