Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical effect of interferon α1b as aerosol inhalation on treating viral infection in children′s upper respiratory tract.MethodsOne hundred children with viral infection in upper respiratory tract infection admitted into pediatric department in our hospital from May 2013 to May 2015 were selected. They were evenly divided into control group(conventional antiviral therapy)and observation group(aerosol inhalation of interferon α1b on the basis of conventional treatment). The clinical efficacy, clinical indicators, and the incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups were compared.ResultsThe total effective rate in the observation group was 92%,much higher than that in the control group accounting for 84% (P<0.05).The clinical indicators and the incidence of adverse reactions were both superior to those in the control group(P<0.05).ConclusionOn the basis of conventional treatment, application of interferon α1b as aerosol inhalation in the treatment of viral infection in children′s upper respiratory tract can obtain a definite effect.
