Objective To investigate the effect of patient-centered learning mode on health education of patients after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods A total of 115 patients after PCI in Huizhou Central People′s Hospital from January to December 2019 were divided into an observation group(58 cases)and a control group(57 cases)by a random number table method.Patients in the observation group were treated with patient-centered learning mode to implement health education, and in the control group, patients were treated with routine health education. The scores of disease rehabilitation knowledge, secondary prevention abilities, blood pressures and blood lipids were collected and compared between the two groups before discharge,3 and 6 months after discharge. Results The scores of disease rehabilitation knowledge, secondary prevention ability and high density lipoprotein levels in observation group were higher than those in control group at 3 and 6 months after discharge, and the levels of cholesterol, triglyceride and low density lipoprotein in observation group were lower than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of disease rehabilitation knowledge, secondary prevention ability and high density lipoprotein levels of two groups at 3 and 6 months after discharge were higher than those before discharge, and the levels of cholesterol, triglyceride and low density lipoprotein of two groups were lower than those before discharge, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Blood pressures before discharge,3 and 6 months after discharge between two groups were compared, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion By implementing health education in patient-centered learning mode,it is possible to improve the health behavior and disease status of patients after PCI to a certain extent.
