Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of Rhubarb Officinale on the curative effect of severe acute pancreatitis and inflammatory factors. Methods A total of 90 patients with severe acute pancreatitis patients who were admitted to Fujian Provincial Hospital from June 2019 to May 2020 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into the treatment group(45 cases)and the control group(45 cases)by the random number table method. The control group was given conventional treatment methods, and the treatment group was given Rhubarb Officinale based on the control group. The total effective rate of treatment, mortality, length of hospitalization, hospitalization cost, time of symptom relief, and levels of inflammatory factors before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the treatment group is higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The mortality rate of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group, the hospital stay was shorter than that of the control group, and the total hospitalization cost was less than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant significance (P<0.05).The treatment group′s first defecation time, abdominal pain disappearance time, abdominal tenderness disappearance time and serum amylase negative time were shorter than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-10(IL-10)and interleukin-6(IL-6)in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Rhubarb Officinale can improve the clinical symptoms of severe acute pancreatitis and increase the effective rate of treatment.
