Objective To explore the effect of standardization management of foreign medical equipment by using information traceability system in disinfection supply center.Methods A total of 2400 foreign medical instruments and 600 pieces of new medical textiles from Jiangxi Provincial People′s Hospital from January to December 2020 were retrospectively selected and divided into observation group and control group according to different operating procedures.Each group contained 1200 foreign medical instruments and 300 pieces of new medical textiles.The observation group was treated with standardized management for medical devices and textiles,while the control group was treated with conventional management.The return washing rate of foreign medical instruments and the loss rate of new medical textiles were compared between the two groups.Results The washback rate of foreign medical instruments in the observation group was 91.00%,which was higher than 48.00% in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The loss rate of new medical textiles in the observation group was 10.00%,which was lower than 50.00% in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Disinfection supply center information tracing system for the implementation of standardized management of medical equipment,can improve the foreign medical equipment after use,return rate and turnover rate,reduce medical new textiles is worthy of popularization in the hospital.
