Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of PDCA circulation mode in infection control of hospital′s pharmacy intravenous admixture service (PIVAS).Methods The routine management mode adopted in the infection control process of Shenyang Orthopedic Hospital′s intravenous admixture service center from April 2016 to March 2018 was set as the control group,and the PDCA management mode applied in the infection control process of Shenyang Orthopedic Hospital′s intravenous admixture service center from April 2018 to March 2020 was set as the experimental group.There were 6 nurses in each group.The writing quality of nursing documents,service attitude and air sedimentation bacteria in the static distribution center were compared between the two groups.Results The qualified rate of the writing quality of nursing documents,the degree of service satisfaction,the qualified rate of management qualification of inpatient area and bacterial culture qualification rate of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The number of sedimentation bacteria and the rate of sedimentation bacteria in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion In the control of infection in hospital′s PIVAS,PDCA circulation mode can improve the quality of work,improve the qualified rate of bacterial culture,reduce the rate of sedimentation bacteria,and promote the PIVAS to play its role better.
