Abstract:Objective To explore the application of butterfly buckle fixation in the fixation of head drainage tube. Methods From June 2020 to January 2021,60 patients with various types of head drainage tubes after craniocerebral surgery in the Third Affiliated Hospital of Gannan Medical University were selected as the study subjects, and the patients were divided into the control group(30 cases)and the observation group(30 cases)according to the random number table method. The control group applied traditional head drainage tube fixation, and the observation group used butterfly buckle fixation to fix the head drainage tube. The number of fixed material replacements and unplanned extubation rate were compared between the two groups within 3 d,and the satisfaction of patients, family members and nurses were compared after 3 d.Results The number of fixed material replacements and unplanned extubation rate of the observation group within 3 d of catheterization were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 3 d of catheterization, the satisfaction rates of patients, family members and nurses in observation group were higher than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Butterfly buckle fixation for head drainage tube can reduce unplanned extubation and improve the satisfaction of patients, family members and nurses.
