Abstract:Objective To explore the application of multifunctional pain scale in cancer pain assessment. Methods A total of 60 patients with moderate and severe pain tumors admitted to Nanchang First Hospital from June to December 2020 were selected as the study subjects, thirty patients from June to October 2020 were used as control groups at the case selection time, and thirty patients from November to December 2020 were included as the experimental group.Numerical rating scale(NRS)was used for the control group, and multifunctional pain scale was used for the experimental group. The pain assessment effect, use effect evaluation of nurses, patient use effect evaluation, and time-consuming evaluation.were compared between the two groups. Results The effect of pain control in experimental group was 96.67%higher than that in control group 73.33%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The effect evaluation of nurses in experimental group was 96.67% higher than that in control group 73.33%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The effect evaluation of the experimental group was 100.00% higher than that of the control group 76.67%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The pain assessment time in the experimental group was(2.71±0.51)min shorter than that in the control group(4.95±0.62)min,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Multifunctional pain scale is used in cancer pain assessment, could improve the effect of pain control, shorten the pain assessment time, and improve the evaluation of nurses and patients′use effect.
