Abstract:Objective To investigate the application effect of high-frequency color Doppler ultrasound in surgical treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism(SHPT).Methods A total of 40 patients with SHPT admitted to Fengcheng People′s Hospital from December 2018 to June 2020 were selected as the research objects. All patients were given highfrequency color ultrasound examination, parathyroidectomy and postoperative pathological diagnosis. The operative pathological results, ultrasonographic results and their accuracy, sensitivity and specificity were observed. The serum intact parathyroid hormone(iPTH),calcium(Ca)and phosphorus(P)were compared between preoperative and postoperative. Results A total of 133 nodules were resected in 40 patients, and 118 parathyroid hyperplasia, eight lymph nodes, three thyroid nodules, two ectopic thymus glands, and two adipose tissue were pathologically diagnosed. The results of ultrasonography showed 103 enlargement or hyperplasia of parathyroid glands. The pathological diagnosis was considered as the golden standard. The accuracy, sensitivity and specificity of ultrasonic diagnosis were 78.20%,81.36% and 53.33%.The serum iPTH,Ca and P of 40 patients after operation were lower than those before operation, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of high-frequency color Doppler ultrasound in the preoperative examination of SHPT has high accuracy and sensitivity, which provides an important reference basis for clinical treatment and preoperative positioning.
