Abstract:Objective To analyze the influence of Taoren Chengqi Decoction combined with Western medicine sequential therapy on short-term insulin pump intensive treatment of newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes. Methods A total of 120 newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes patients who had received insulin pump intensive treatment for 3 weeks in the First Affiliated Hospital of Hu′nan Traditional Chinese Medical College from November 2019 to January 2020 were selected as the research objects. They were divide into group A, B, C, D according to the random number table method,30 cases in each group, and patients in four groups were treated with Exenatide, Taoren Chengqi Decoction combined with Exenatide, Liraglutide, Taoren Chengqi Decoction combined with Liraglutide respectively. The fasting plasma glucose (FPG), insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR), area under the insulin curve (AUCGln0-3 min), islet α cell function(AUCIns0-10 min), islet β cell function index (HOMA-β), body mass index (BMI) were observed and compared. Results After treatment, the FPG, HOMA-IR, AUCGln0-3 min of the four groups were lower than those before treatment, AUCIns0-10 min and HOMA-β were higher than those before treatment, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in BMI of the four groups between before and after treatment (P>0.05).After treatment, there were no significant differences in FPG, HOMA-IR, AUCGln0-3 min, AUCIns0-10 min and HOMA-β between group A and group C (P>0.05).There were no significant differences in FPG, HOMA-IR, AUCGln0-3 min, AUCIns0-10 min and HOMA-β between group B and group D (P>0.05).After treatment, the FPG, HOMA-IR, AUCGln0-3 min, AUCIns0-10 minand HOMA-β of the patients in group B and group D were better than those in group A, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment, the FPG, HOMA-IR, AUCGln0-3 min, AUCIns0-10 min and HOMA-β of group D were better than those of group C, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences in the clinical indicators of patients between group B and group C after treatment (P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the BMI of the four groups after treatment (P>0.05).Conclusion Taoren Chengqi Decoction combined with Western medicine sequential therapy can effectively control the blood glucose levels of newly diagnosed type 2 diabetic patients, keep the blood glucose level stable, which has clinical promotion value.
