Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of cesarean section and vaginal delivery on neonatal Apgar and NBNA scores. Methods 100 cases of cesarean section treated in our hospital were selected as the cesarean section group from January 2015 to January 2017,and 100 cases of maternal vaginal delivery treated in our hospital were selected as vaginal delivery group. The blood volume, length of hospitalization, newborn weight, neonatal Apgar score and NBNA score were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in Apgar scores between caesarean section group and vaginal delivery group (P>0.05).The blood volume of puerperae in the vaginal delivery group was less than that of cesarean section group, the length of hospitalization was shorter than that of cesarean section group, the weight of the newborn was lower than that of the cesarean section group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The behavior ability, primitive reflection, passive muscle tension, active muscle tone and other NBNA scores of newborns in the two groups were compared, and the differences were not statistically significant (P>0.05).Conclusion There is no significant difference in the recent health status and neurobehavior of neonates with cesarean section and vaginal delivery. However, vaginal delivery is more safe and the long-term effect is smaller. It is suggested to reduce the rate of cesarean section as far as possible, and improve the health condition of puerpera and neonatal.
