Abstract:ObjectiveTo analyze and explore the importance of communication between doctors and patients and the application effect of medical communication training to improve the communication ability of medical students.MethodsFrom July 2016 to July 2017,30 patients in our hospital and the related practice of graduate students and training doctors were selected as the observation group,the unified communication special training courses were implemented in observation group.30 medical students were selected as the control group,according to the practice of the tutorial system explain the doctor-patient communication related knowledge and skills were carried out by the instructors themselves.Medical communication awareness of two groups of medical students was evaluated and measured by means of doctorpatient communication cognitive table.The scores of each dimension and the scores of two groups were compared.ResultsThe observation group with communication initiation,information collection,information given,understanding patients,communication end and other related items scores[(21.37±4.38),(44.50±5.13),(17.89±2.62),(19.69±2.68)and(9.72±1.78)points]were significantly higher than the control group[(17.86±3.15),(39.19±5.46),(13.18±2.94),(15.13±2.89)and(7.02±1.25)points],and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionStrengthening the special training of doctor-patient communication can significantly improve the communication skills of medical students,especially in the information collection and the understanding of patients,has higher value in clinical application.
