Abstract:ObjectiveTo understand the status of elderly medication in our hospital,and to give corresponding countermeasures.Methods11148 cases of elderly hospitalized patients with the age more than 65 were chosen from January to December in 2015 in our hospital,the conditions of drug kinds,adverse reactions involved organ/system classification,injection drug use in the top ten were analyzed.Results11148 cases of elderly patients with daily medication showed that more than 15 kinds was the most,accounted for 62.77%;a total of 51 cases was found with adverse reactions to the harm of human body,involved the whole body each organ/system,its clinical manifestations were diverse,which affects the most was the digestive system damage,mainly for nausea,vomiting,abdominal pain,diarrhea,liver damage,hiccups.In the top 10 drugs of injection drug use,in addition to Shuxuening,Terbutaline,the rest were with unreasonable medication dose.ConclusionThe unreasonable phenomenon with drug use in elderly patients is relatively serious,it should be given the old drug regulation,reduce the incidence of adverse reactions,ensure the elderly medication safety and effectiveness.
