Abstract：Objective To study effect of Ketotifen combined with Loratadine in the treatment of children with cough variant asthma.Methods 80 children with cough variant asthma in our hospital from February 2015 to February 2016 were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group by computers,40 cases in each group.Patients of two groups were treated with conventional therapy,patients in the observation group were treated with Ketotifen combined with Loratadine,patients in the control group were treated with Ketotifen.Improvement time of clinical symptoms,pulmonary ventilation function,inflammatory factor level,adverse reaction and recurrence rate in two groups were compared.Results Improvement time of clinical symptoms,changes of pulmonary ventilation function and level of inflammatory factors in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P＜0.05).Incidence rate of adverse reaction(10.0%)in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(17.5%),but the difference was not statistically significant(P＞0.05).Relapse rate(7.5%)in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(25.0%),the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Ketotifen combined with Loratadine in the treatment of children with cough variant asthma can improve the clinical symptoms,is safe and effective,which has a high clinical value.
