Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effects of low intensity laser in treating vaginitis. Methods 60 patients from January to July 2015 of gynecological clinic in our hospital were selected as study object and divided into observation group and control group according to random numbers principle, each group was 30 cases.Patients in control group were given metronidazole suppositories, while patients in observation group were given low intensity laser on the basis of control group. After continue treatment for 10 days, the improvement situation of clinical symptoms, clinical effects and recurrence rate after treatment for 6 months in two groups were compared. Results In observation group,3 cases with leukorrhagia,4 cases with colpalgia,2 cases felt vagina burning sensation and 2 cases with vaginal wall red congestion after treatment, which was respectively 10,12,11 and 8 cases in control group; All clinical symptoms or positive rate of sign in observation group were obvious lower than those in control group, and the difference was statistical significance (P<0.05).The treatment effective rate in observation group was 96.7%,which was higher than 76.7%in control group, the difference was statistical significance(P<0.05).After treatment for 6 months, the recurrence rate in observation group was 6.7%,which was lower than 43.3%in control group, the difference was statistical significance (P<0.05).Conclusion Using low intensity laser in treating vaginitis can obviously improve clinical symptoms, enhance clinical effects, decrease recurrence rate and with any obvious adverse effects. It is worthy to popularize in clinic.
