| Application effect of bone-setting manipulation combined with Taohe Chengqi Decoction in early treatment of thoracolumbar compressibility fracture without neurologic symptoms |

Abstract Objective To explore the application effect of bone-setting manipulation combined with Taohe Chengqi Decoction in early treatment of thoracolumbar compressibility fracture without neurologic symptoms.Methods A total of 80 patients with thoracolumbar compressibility fracture without neurologic symptoms admitted to Jiujiang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from June 2017 to June 2020 were selected as the research objects.The patients were divided into the control group and the observation group according to random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with low back cushion soft pillow,and the observation group was treated with bone-setting manipulation combined with Taohe Chengqi Decoction.The total effective rate was compared between the two groups,the anterior height of vertebral bodies,the posterior salient angle and the lumbar spine function(Oswestry dysfunction index[ODI])before and after treatment were compared between the two groups,and the complications of the two groups were recorded.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the anterior height of vertebral bodies of two groups was higher than that before treatment,the posterior salient angle of two groups was smaller than that before treatment,the ODI score of two groups was lower than that before treatment,and the anterior height of vertebral bodies in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,the posterior salient angle in the observation group was smaller than that in the control group,the ODI score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The effect of bone-setting manipulation combined with Taohe Chengqi Decoction in early treatment of thoracolumbar compressibility fracture without neurologic symptoms is better.It could improve the anterior height of vertebral bodies,reduce the posterior salient angle,and have high safety.
