microRNA-34a在心血管病中的研究进展

Abstract microRNA (miRNA) is widely existed in a variety of organisms. As a member of miRNA family, miRNA-34a is abnormally expressed in a variety of cardiovascular diseases. Based on the overview of miRNA-34a and related cardiovascular literature, this study found that miRNA-34a is positively correlated with clinical grade of hypertension,involved in regulating the process of atherosclerosis, promoting plaque formation, and increased after ischemia reperfusion injury. The addition of inhibitors can improve ventricular remodeling and delay cardiac hypertrophy. It also participates in the regulation of the pathophysiological process of atrial fibrillation. These results suggest that miRNA-34a is indeed closely related to a variety of common cardiovascular diseases, and can be used as a new target for the diagnosis and treatment of these cardiovascular diseases, providing reference for clinical prediction and diagnosis and treatment.
