Abstract Objective To definite the research status and foucus of Peplau′s relationship theory in domestic nursing field.Methods The CNKI,Wanfang,VIP and CBM,and published articles related to Peplau′s interpersonal relationship theory and nursing subject words by May 2020 were retrieved.Note Express software and EXCEL were used to conduct econometric analysis on the annual publication volume and distribution area.Results A total of 96 literature was included,which included some problems such as an uneven number of literature publishing regions,fewer core journals and fund support,etc.Clinical nursing practice and nursing education were mainly applied in the field of the theory.Conclusion There are few studies on Peplau′s relationship theory in China.Hence,we need to expand the breadth and depth of research on Peplau′s relationship theory and improve the problems of the lack funding for scientific research and the limitations of research methods and contents.
