| Effect of comprehensive nursing model on prognosis of respiratory failure in children under intensive care |

Abstract Objective To analyze the effect of comprehensive nursing model on the prognosis of respiratory failure in intensive care children.Methods From May 2018 to April 2020,80 patients with respiratory failure in Fuzhou First People′s Hospital,Jiangxi Province were selected as the research objects.According to the touch ball method，they were divided into study group(n=40)and the control group(n=40).The study group adopted the comprehensive nursing model,the control group adopted routine nursing mode.The total nursing satisfaction,the time of heat regression,the time of lung rale disappearance,the time of cough disappearance and the total incidence of complications were compared between the two groups.Results The total nursing satisfaction of the study group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant（P＜0.05）.The fever regression time，lung rale disappearance time and cough disappearance time in the study group were shorter than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total incidence of respiratory diseases,pulmonary encephalopathy and multiple infections in the study group was lower than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The implementation of comprehensive nursing model can effectively improve the nursing effect of children with respiratory failure,reduce the total incidence of complications,have high safety,make children recover health as soon as possible,and have clinical application value.
