| Effect of Tongfu Tongluo Kaiqiao Decoction combined with Rosuvastatin on hemorheology in patients with cerebral infarction at the recovery stage |

Abstract Objective To investigate the effect of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) Tongfu Tongluo Kaiqiao Decoction combined with Rosuvastatin in the treatment of patients with cerebral infarction at the recovery stage and its influence on hemorheological indexes.Methods A total of 120 patients with cerebral infarction in recovery period admitted to Yangjiang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2017 to June 2019 were selected as subjects and divided into the study group and the control group by the random number table method,with 60 cases in each group.Both groups were given basic treatment + Rosuvastatin.Patients in the study group were added with TCM Tongfu Tongluo Kaiqiao Decoction.Patients in both groups were treated continuously for 4 weeks.The blood lipid indexes,hemorheological indexes,the National Institutes of Health stroke scale (NIHSS) scores,and the recovery of limb motor function of the two groups before and after treatment were compared.Results Before treatment,there were no significant differences in serum triglyceride (TG),total cholesterol (TC),high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) and low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) levels between two groups (P＞0.05).After treatment,the levels of serum TG,TC and LDL-C in the study group were lower than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences (P＜0.05).Before treatment,there were no significant differences in plasma viscosity,low-cut whole blood viscosity,highcut whole blood viscosity,or hematocrit between two groups (P＞0.05).After treatment,the plasma viscosity,low-cut whole blood viscosity,high-cut whole blood viscosity,and hematocrit in the study group were all lower than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there were no significant differences in NIHSS score and Fugl-Meyer exercise rating scale (Fugl-meyer) score between two groups (P＞0.05).After treatment,the NIHSS score of the study group was lower than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).After treatment,Fugl-Meyer score in the study group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusion TCM Tongfu Tongluo Kaiqiao Decoction combined with Rosuvastatin in the treatment of patients with cerebral infarction at the recovery stage can effectively improve hemorheological indexes and promote the recovery of patients′ nerve and limb motor functions.
