| The influence of auricular point pressing therapy on the life and sleeping quality of patients with stroke |

Abstract ObjectiveTo discuss the effect of auricular point pressing therapy treating stroke and its influence on the life and sleeping quality of patients.Methods90 patients with stroke hospitalized in our hospital from February 2014 to March 2017 were admitted into research and they were grouped according to the random number table method.Control group(n＝45)was given the routine nursing while observation group was combined with auricular point pressing therapy.One month was a course of treatment.The improvement of life quality and Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)and the total nursing satisfaction degree in patients between the two groups were compared.ResultsAfter intervention,physical function,emotional function,psychological function,social function dimension score was increased,PSQI index in patients between the two groups was decreased,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After intervention,various dimension score of life quality in the observation group was higher than that of control group,PSQI index was lower than that of the control group (P＜0.05).The total satisfaction degree of the observation group was 95.56%,which was higher than that of the control group(77.78%),and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).ConclusionFor patients with stroke,auricular point pressing therapy applied has a significant significance,and it can better improve the life and sleep quality,and help to promote the harmony between nurses and patients,it is worth promoting.
