Application effect of quality control circle activity in reducing the opening delay rate of selective first operation |

Abstract Objective To investigate the application effect of quality control circle(QCC)activity in reducing the opening delay rate of selective first operation.Methods A total of 1766 selective first operations from January to October in 2018 were selected as the study subjects.The observation group had 183 elective first operations from October 2018,and the control group had 875 elective first operations from January to May in 2018.The control group was given the conventional management measures,and the observation group was given the QCC management method.On June 1,2018,the QCC group was established,with the activity cycle of 4 months.The activity subject was designated,the activity plan Gantt chart was developed,the status quo was investigated,the target value was set,and the true cause was verified and the proposed countermeasures and implementation were made.The opening delay rate of selective first operation,the average delay time of opening stage and the average delay time of surgeon entering the room were compared between the two groups.Results The opening delay rate of selective first operation in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistical significance (P<0.05).The average delayed time of selective first operation and the average delayed time of entering the room of the surgeon in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group,and the differences were statistical significance(P<0.05).In the observation group,the target achievement rate was 65.25%and the improvement rate was 41.42%after QCC.Conclusion Carrying out QCC can effectively reduce the opening delay rate of selective first operation,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
