| Application effect of clinical nursing pathway in cataract patients treated by intraocular lens implantation combined with phacoemulsification |

Abstract Objective To analyze the application value of clinical nursing pathway in cataract patients treated with intraocular lens implantation and phacoemulsification. Methods A total of 62 cataract patients treated with intraocular lens implantation and phacoemulsification in our hospital from June 2017 to June 2018 were selected as the research objects.They were divided into observation group (n=31) and reference group (n=31) according to random parallel method.The observation group adopted clinical nursing path method, and the reference group adopted general nursing method.The total nursing satisfaction, total complication rate and hospital stay, hospital expenses of the two groups were compared. Results The nursing total satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the reference group, the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the reference group (P＜0.05).The time of hospitalization in the observation group was shorter than that in the reference group, hospital expenses was less than that of the reference group, the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05). Conclusion The implementation of clinical nursing pathway in cataract patients treated with intraocular lens implantation+phacoemulsification can help improve clinical outcomes, obtain patient recognition of nursing work, and reduce the length of hospital stay, reducing hospital costs, the overall incidence of complications was also reduced, so it is suitable for clinical application and promotion.
