| Clinical effect of Banxia Xiexin Decoction in the treatment of children with dyspepsia |

Abstract Objective To explore the clinical effect of Banxia Xiexin Decoction in the treatment of children with dyspepsia.Methods Totally 90 children with dyspepsia diagnosed and treated in our hospital from August 2018 to August 2019 were selected as the research objects,and randomly divided into experimental group and control group,45 cases in each group.In the control group,children were treated with Western drugs,and in the experimental group,Banxia Xiexin Decoction on the basis of the control group was added.The clinical efficacy,symptom scores before and after treatment and incidence of adverse reaction of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the experimental group was 91.1%,which was higher than that in the control group accounting for 64.4%,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in symptom scores between the two groups of children before treatment (P>0.05).After treatment,the scores of upper abdominal pain,early satiety,belching,nausea,vomiting and burning sensation in the upper abdomen of the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The scores of upper abdominal pain([1.1±0.2) points],early satiety ([1.0±0.4]points),belching ([1.3±0.4]points),nausea ([1.2±0.6]points),vomiting ([1.0±0.3]points) and burning sensation in the upper abdomen ([0.9±0.3]points) of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group ([2.5±0.8],[1.8±0.6],[2.5±0.9],[2.0±1.1],[1.9±0.9],[1.4±1.1]points),and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total incidence rate of adverse reactions in the experimental group was 4.4%,which was lower than that in the control group accounting for 22.2%,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical effect of Banxia Xiexin Decoction is definite in the treatment of children with dyspepsia.It can accelerate the recovery of intestinal function in children with high safety,which is worthy of promotion and application.
