| Clinical effect of tongxuan acupuncture combined with vestibular rehabilitation training in the treatment of vestibular migraine |

Abstract Objective To explore the clinical effect of tongxuan acupuncture combined with vestibular rehabilitation training in the treatment of vestibular migraine.Methods A total of 80 patients with vestibular migraine who were admitted to our hospital from June 2018 to June 2019 were selected as the research objects,and they were divided into the control group and the treatment group according to the random number table method,40 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were given vestibular rehabilitation training,and patients in the treatment group were given tongxuan acupuncture combined with vestibular rehabilitation training.The Berg balance scale (BBS),vestibular symptom index (VSI),vertigo symptom,function and quality of life (DHI) scores before and after treatment in the two groups of patients were observed,and the treatment effect and recurrence rate of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the treatment group was 86.8%,which was higher than that in the control group accounting for 64.8%,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The BBS scores of the two groups of patients after treatment were higher than those before treatment,the VSI scores were lower than those before treatment,the DHI scores were lower than those before treatment,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.01).The BBS score of the treatment group after treatment was higher than that of the control group,the VSI score was lower than that of the control group,the DHI score was lower than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After 1 month of follow-up,the recurrence rate of the patients in the treatment group was 2.6%,and the recurrence rate of the patients in the control group was 5.4%.There was no statistically significant difference in the recurrence rate between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion Tongxuan acupuncture combined with vestibular rehabilitation training is ideal for the treatment of vestibular migraine,which can effectively improve the quality of life,improve the symptoms of vertigo,and facilitate the rehabilitation of vestibular function.
