Abstract Objective To investigate the effect of endovascular interventional embolization for the treatment of cerebral aneurysm rupture. Methods A total of 100 patients with cerebral aneurysm rupture treated in the Department of Neurosurgery in the Shangrao People′s Hospital from August 10,2015 to August 10,2016 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into two groups by drawing lots,50 cases in each groups. In the observation group, patients were treated with endovascular interventional embolization, while in the control group, patients were treated with conventional method. The therapeutic effect, operative time, hospital stay, intraoperative blood loss, and total incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results The total effectiveness rate of the observation group was 98.00%,which was higher than that of the control group (72.00%),with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).The operation time and hospital stay of the observation group were (45.21±1.02) min and (5.21±1.32) d,which were shorter than those of the control group for(77.13±1.32)min and(11.26±1.97)d,the intraoperative blood loss was(254.13±1.23) ml in the observation group, which was less than that in the control group for (365.25±1.97) ml,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was 2.00%,which was lower than that in the control group accounting for 24.00%,with statistically significant difference (P <0.05).Conclusion The effect of endovascular interventional embolization for the treatment of cerebral aneurysm rupture is remarkable with few complications, which can significantly shorten the operation time and hospital stay and is worthy of study.
