| Influence of nurse patient communication skills on children′s treatment compliance |

Abstract Objective To explore the effect of nurse-patient communication skills on pediatric treatment compliance.Methods A total of 100 pediatric inpatients admitted to our hospital from January 2018 to January 2019 were selected as research objects.They were divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method, 50 cases in each group.Children in the control group were treated with conventional nursing methods, while children in the observation group were trained in communication skills of nurses on the basis of routine nursing, and the treatment compliance of children in the two groups was compared.Results The total score of compliance in the observation group was (4.1±0.7) point, which was higher than that in the control group (3.4±1.0) point, and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).The disease awareness rate, one-time puncture success rate, compliance rate and satisfaction with nursing in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P＜0.05).The quality of life score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The nursing staff and children through the good communication and communication can greatly help improve children with treatment compliance, more beneficial to the patients′ disease treatment, therefore, nursing staff should pay attention to their own requirements, improve the ability of communication with patients, especially should pay attention to strengthening and pediatric children communication skills.
