| Application of quality control circle in reducing the number of accidents in automatic dispensing machine in outpatient pharmacy |

Abstract Objective To discuss the application of quality control circle in reducing the number of accidents in automatic dispensing machine in outpatient pharmacy.Methods The staff of outpatient pharmacy set up quality control circle by voluntary registration, the number of failures of automatic dispensing machine before improvement in January to February in 2019 was collected, implemented various activities in strict accordance with the ten steps of quality control circle, analyzed the main causes of failure of automatic dispensing machines from personnel and equipment, drugs, and environmental aspects, formulated corresponding solutions and implemented them, and the number of automatic drug machine failures from June to July in 2019 after improvement was collected.The effectiveness of activities was evaluated.Results The number of failures of the dispensing machine was 330 times before the improvement of the first 14 days,with an average of (24±5) times per day, and the number of failures was 113 times after 14 days of improvement, with an average of (8±2) times per day.Conclusion Through this quality control circle activity, the number of automatic drug delivery machine failures in outpatient pharmacies has been effectively improved, the efficiency of outpatient pharmacies has been improved, and the ability of the circle staff has been strengthened.
