| Clinical effect of penetrating resin combined with Beyond cold light whitening instrument in the treatment of severe dental fluorosis |

Abstract Objective To explore clinical effect of penetrating resin combined with Beyond cold light whitening instrument in the treatment of severe dental fluorosis.Methods Fifty patients with severe dental fluorosis treated in our hospital from January 2015 to January 2017 were selected as the research subjects, they were divided into control group(25 cases) and observation group (25 cases) according to the random number table method.The control group was treated with Beyond cold light whitening device, the observation group was treated with penetrating resin combined with Beyond cold light whitening device.After 2 years follow-up, the therapeutic effect and satisfaction of the two groups were compared.Results There was no significant difference the effective rate of the control group at 3 and 6 months after treatment compared with 1 week after treatment (P＞0.05).The effective rate of the control group in the first and second year after treatment was lower than that in the first week, the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the effective rate of the observation group at 3, 6 months, 1 and 2 years after treatment compared with 1 week after treatment (P＞0.05).There was no significant difference in the treatment efficiency between the two groups after 1 week, 3 months, and 2 years (P＞0.05).The treatment group at 6 months and 1 year after treatment was more effective than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).The treatment satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusion Penetrating resin combined with Beyond cold light whitening instrument to treat severe dental fluorosis can improve the clinical treatment effect and satisfaction of patients.
