| Clinical observation of Levamlodipine Besylate combined with Valsartan in the treatment of essential hypertension |

Abstract ObjectiveTo study the clinical efficacy of Levamlodipine Besylate combined with Valsartan in the treatment of essential hypertension.Methods100 patients with essential hypertension who were admitted to our hospital from January 2014 to January 2016 were selected as the study subjects.According to the random number table method,the patients were divided into observation group and control group,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was given Valsartan of 80 mg,administered in the morning once a day.The observation group was given Levamlodipine Besylate of 2.5 mg and Valsartan of 80 mg,administered in the morning once a day.The patients were administered for 8 weeks continuously.The clinical efficacy,SBP and DBP levels before and after the treatment and quality of life scores were compared and analyzed between the two groups.ResultsThe total clinical effective rate was 96.00%after treatment in the observation group,which was higher than that in the control group (78.00%),the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The levels of SBP[(112.8±15.2)mmHg]and DBP[(72.8±17.2)mmHg]in the observation group after the treatment were significantly lower than those in the control group[(118.5±13.8),(85.3±15.3)mmHg],the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The scores of life quality after the treatment in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).ConclusionThe clinical efficacy of levamlodipine besylate combined with valsartan in the treatment of essential hypertension is significant,which can significantly reduce the clinical symptoms and improve the quality of life of patients.
