| Analysis on the role of prescription review in clinical rational drug use |

Abstract Objective To explore the role of prescription review in clinical rational drug use.Methods A total of 2000 outpatient prescriptions in half a year before and after the implementation of the prescription review feedback system in our hospital on June 1,2018 were randomly selected as the research objects,and 1000 before and 1000 after the implementation of the prescription review feedback system.The qualified rate of outpatient prescriptions,the rate of clinical irrational drug use and the related situation of drug prescriptions in half a year before and after the implementation of the prescription review system in our hospital were compared and analyzed.Results The qualified rate of prescriptions after the implementation of the prescription review system was 93.7%,which was higher than 82.6% before the implementation,and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).After the implementation of prescription comment system,the rate of irrational use of drugs was 1.40%,lower than 7.50% after the implementation,and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).After implementation,the medication time was shorter than that before implementation,the type of medication was less than that before implementation,and the medication cost was lower than that before implementation,the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusion Prescription review can effectively improve the quality of clinical medication,improve the standard of prescription writing,avoid the application of unreasonable and unnecessary drugs,and play an active role in promoting clinical rational drug use.
