Abstract Objective To investigate the effect of early plastic surgery in the treatment of hand Ⅱand Ⅲdegree burns. Methods A total of 60 patients with hand Ⅱand Ⅲdegree burns who were treated in Third Hospital of Yingtan City, Jiangxi Province from May 2016 to May 2019 were selected as the research subjects, they were divided into the control group (30 cases) and the observation group (30 cases) according to the single and double grouping method.The control group was treated with delayed repair, the observation group was treated with early plastic surgery. The clinical effect, total incidence of complications, pain score, self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-depressing scale(SDS) scores were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). The pain score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). The scores of SAS and SDS in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05). Conclusion Early plastic surgery for hand burn patients can improve the treatment effect, reduce the incidence of complications, relieve the degree of pain, anxiety and depression,which is worthy of clinical application.
