AbstractObjective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of D-dimer (D-D) in the plasma of patients with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM).Methods Seventy-two GDM patients admitted to our department of obstetrics and gynecology from March 2017 to September 2018 were selected as the GDM group, and 70 normal pregnant women during the same period were selected as the healthy group. The levels of plasma D-D and anti-thrombin Ⅲ(AT-Ⅲ) in GDM group and healthy group were compared.GDM group was divided into group with dood prognosis and group with poor prognosis according to the prognosis of parturient and newborn, the incidence of pregnancy complications and the level of plasma D-D were compared between the two groups. Results The level of plasma D-D in GDM group was higher than that in healthy group, and the level of AT-Ⅲwas lower than that in healthy group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The level of plasma D-D in GDM group after treatment was lower than that before treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The incidence of macrosomia, premature delivery and premature rupture of membranes in the group with good prognosis was lower than that in the group with poor prognosis, and the level of D-D was lower than that in the group with poor prognosis, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The plasma D-D level of GDM patients is higher, and the change of D-D level is of great significance in the occurrence and development of the disease and the prognosis evaluation.
