| Clinical features of acute stroke complicated with brain-heart syndrome |

Abstract [Abstract]Objective To explore the clinical features and pathogenesis of acute stroke complicated with brain-heart syndrome,and provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment.Methods A total of 142 patients with acute stroke and onset 1-72 h who were admitted to the department of neurology in our hospital from January 2017 to October 2018 were enrolled,aged 45-88 years,mean (66.5±4.48)years old.The clinical data of 82 patients complicated with brainheart syndrome were studied and analyzed.Results The proportion of brain-heart syndrome after acute stroke was 57.75%.The incidence rate of ischemic stroke was 49.07%,and the incidence rate of hemorrhagic stroke was 85.29%,characterized by a variety of changes in electrocardiogram,including various forms of arrhythmia,ST-T changes,abnormal changes in myocardial enzymes,troponin I,and B-type natriuretic peptide precursors (NT-proBNP).Echocardiography showed that 26 cases of local ventricular wall abnormalities(31.71%),except for 2 deaths,and other patients recovered within 1 to 2 weeks.Conclusion The incidence rate of hemorrhagic stroke in acute stroke complicated with brain-heart syndrome is significantly higher than that in ischemic stroke.Brain-heart syndrome manifests as abnormal electrocardiogram,myocardial enzyme changes,and cardiac dysfunction.Cardiac changes can be gradually restored after standard treatment.
