Application of thinprep cytologic test combined with HPV-DNA detection in diagnosis of cervical lesions |

Abstract Objective To investigate the application effect of thinprep cytologic test (TCT) combined with HPV-DNA detection in the diagnosis of cervical lesions.MethodsSixty-six patients with suspected cervical lesions enrolled in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of our hospital from June 2017 to May 2018 were selected as the subjects.The TCT test and HPV-DNA test were performed respectively.The results of cervical biopsy were used as the gold standard.The sensitivity,specificity,and accuracy of TCT alone,HPV-DNA alone,and joint detections in cervical lesions were analyzed.Results The accuracy,sensitivity and specificity of detections in combination were 95.45%,95.83%,and 94.44%,higher than those of TCT alone accuracy,sensitivity and specificity (63.64%,68.75%,and 50.00%)and HPV-DNA alone (68.18%,72.92%,and 55.56%) in turn,with significant differences (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in sensitivity,specificity or sensitivity of TCT alone and HPV-DNA alone (P>0.05).Conclusion In the diagnosis of patients with early cervical lesions,the combined use of TCT and HPV-DNA tests is beneficial to the early diagnosis of its nature.The diagnostic accuracy is high,and can provide a reliable reference for clinical treatment.It is worth further in clinical practice.
