ObjectiveTo observe the effect of modified peanut skin in the prevention and treatment of chemotherapyrelated thrombocytopenia.MethodsFrom October 2014 to February 2017,132 patients with malignant tumor associated thrombocytopenia were enrolled as observation objects.They were randomly divided into treatment group (n=64)and control group (n=68).In the treatment group,the modified peanut skin was provided besides chometherapy,while in the control group,no preventive measure was used.The minimum value of platelet,the duration of platelet less than 75×109/L and less than 100×109/L,the degree of thrombocytopenia,and adverse reactions after chemotherapy were observed in two groups.ResultsAfter two-cycle chemotherapy,the minimal PLT in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group,but without significant difference(P＞0.05).The duration of platelet less than 75×109/L and less than 100×109/L in treatment group were significantly shorter than that in control group,the difference was significant difference (P＜0.05).In the treatment group,the decrease degree of thrombocytopenia was lower than that in the control group with a statistical difference(P＜0.05).No bleeding was recurred.ConclusionPreventive application of modified peanut skin can reduce the amplitude of platelet induced by chemotherapy and shorten the duration of thrombocytopenia,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
