AbstractObjective To investigate the effect of time window nursing in patients with ischemic stroke.Methods A total of 70 patients with acute ischemic stroke who were treated in our hospital from January 2017 to April 2018 were selected as research subjects.They were randomly divided into two groups,35 patients cases in each group.In control group,general care was used,while the time window management was adopted in the time window management group.The neurological deficits NIH Stroke Scale(NIHSS)score before and after thrombolysis and Glasgow Coma Scale(GCS)for prognosis evaluation,quality of life (QOL)score,and disability,fatality,and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups.Results In the time window management group,there was no significant difference in the NIHSS score 2-hour or 24-hour after thrombolysis compared with those in the control group(t=0.2877,1.4881;P＞0.05）,but 1-week and 3-month after thrombolysis,the NIHSS score was lower than those in the control group,with statistical differences (t=5.1730,12.6 480;P＜0.05）.The improvement of GCS and QOL scores in the time window management group was greater than that in the control group with statistical significance (t=17.5338,2.7765;P＜0.05）.The incidence of complications in the time window management group was lower than that in the control group with a significant difference (χ2=4.629,P＜0.05）.Conclusion Time window nursing management can improve the neurological function of patients with ischemic stroke,promote good prognosis,ameliorate patients′QOL,and have low fatality and disability rates,which is worthy of clinical application.
