Effect of arthroscopy-assisted minimally invasive technique in the treatment of tibial plateau fractures |

Abstract Objective To explore the effect of arthroscopy-assisted minimally invasive technique in the treatment of tibial plateau fractures.Methods A total of 64 patients with tibial plateau fractures who were admitted to our hospital from December 2011 to December 2015 were selected and randomly divided into the study group and the control group,32 cases in each group.The study group was given arthroscopy-assisted minimally invasive techniques.The control group was given traditional open surgical treatment.The incision length,operation time,intraoperative blood loss,incision healing time,incidence rate of postoperative complications and joint activity(HSS knee function score)were compared between the two groups.Results The incision length in the study group was shorter than that in the control group,the operation time and wound healing time were shorter than those in the control group,intraoperative blood loss was less than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The complication rate in the study group was 0.00%,which was lower than 31.25%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The excellent and good rate of HSS scores in the study group was 93.8%,which was higher than that 71.9%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Arthroscopy-assisted minimally invasive technique in the treatment of tibial plateau fractures have the advantages of accurate reduction,less injury,rapid healing,better function recovery,and fewer complications.
