火通络宝联合中药敷贴在老年膝骨性关节炎患者中的应用效果

Abstract Objective To explore the application value of Tongluobao combined with external-application of Chinese herbal medicine in elderly patients with knee osteoarthritis(KOA).Methods From May 2016 to April 2017,64 elderly patients with KOA treated in our hospital were divided into two groups according to the envelope method.Among them,32 patients in the control group were given with the routine care,and the remaining 32 patients in the observation group were given with Tongluobao combined with external-application of Chinese herbal medicine.The knee society score (KSS)was used to evaluate the knee joint function before and after intervention,and the therapeutic effect between the two groups were compared after two weeks treatment.Results In the observation group,the KSS and functional score was(72.50±6.16)points and(73.38±5.97)points respectively respectively,which were higher than those before intervention([58.13±4.30])points and([53.69±5.88])points,and significantly higher those in the control group([65.44±4.89])points and([62.25±8.02])points at the same period,which were displayed statistical differences(P＜0.001).The total effectiveness rate of the observation group was 96.87%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group accounting for 81.25%with a statistical difference(P＜0.05).Conclusion Tongluobao combined with external-application of Chinese herbal medicine can effectively improve the clinical symptoms in elderly patients with KOA,promote the recovery of knee joint function,and improve the treatment effect of patients,which is worthy of further promotion in clinic.
