Abstract ObjectiveTo explore the use of WeChat public platform in the operation room nursing health education.Methods200 patients relatives undergoing elective surgery in the operating room from July 2015 to February 2017 were selected as research objects.Patients relatives were randomly divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method,100 cases in each group.The control group was adopted the traditional method of health education,the observation group was through the WeChat platform for health education.The knowledge of surgical knowledge and health education satisfaction were compared.ResultsThe score of medication knowledge,check knowledge,precautions and disease-related knowledge in observation group was higher than that in control group,with significant difference(P<0.05).The satisfaction of the content of health,the satisfaction of the educational form and the attitudes of the educators education in observation group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionWe Chat public platform plays an active role in the operation and nursing health education.It can enhance the knowledge of patients′relatives in surgical knowledge and improve the satisfaction of health education,so it is worth further promotion.
