Abstract ObjectiveTo compare the effect of Omeprazole and Ranitidine on gastric ulcer.MethodsFrom October 11,2016 to October 11,2017,a total of 140 patients with gastric ulcer treated in our hospital were selected as study subjects.According to an odd or even number method,they were divided into two groups,70 cases in each group.In the odd number group,patients were treated with Ranitidine Hydrochloride (as Ranitidine group),and the other patients with even number were provided with Omeprazole(as Omeprazole group).The total effectiveness rate,treatment time(effective time and cure time),and occurrence of adverse reactions in the two groups were compared and analyzed.Meanwhile,the changes of interleukin-2 (IL-2),IL-6,C-reactive protein (CRP),vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and epidermal growth factor (EGF)before and after treatment were comarped and observed.ResultsThe total effectiveness rate of the Omeprazole group was 97.14%,which was higher than that of Ranitidine group accounting for 85.71%with a significant difference (P<0.05).The therapeutic effectiveness time and cure time in the Omeprazole group were (6.54±1.84)days and(18.55±4.23)days,shorter than those in the Ranitidine group of(15.41±3.22)days and(37.54±5.34)days respectively,which were displayed statistical significance (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).After treament,in the Omeprazole group,the levels of IL-2,IL-6,and CRP were (5.44±1.63)ng/L,(15.08±8.33)ng/L and (2.11±1.12)mg/L,all lower than those in the Ranitidine group of(8.68±1.40)ng/L,(33.22±7.94)ng/L and (4.26±1.15)mg/L,which were displayed statistical significance (P<0.05).The values of VEGF and EGF in the Omeprazole group were(102.50±8.01)pg/L and(302.33±10.27)pg/L,higher than those in the Ranitidine group of(81.75±8.61)pg/L and(229.54±10.44)pg/L respectively,with significant differences(P<0.05).ConclusionOmeprazole has a significant effect on gastric ulcer,which can effectively ameliorate patients′inflammatory response,quickly repair the ulcer,and enhance the treatment effect,and has the value of recommended application.
